Current Playoff Streaks
The Yankees conseuctive year playoff streak has now reached 13. That's 12 more than any other team. I didn't realize until right now, that all the other teams in the playoffs this year, were not in the playoffs last year.

Wow, I taught Ross something. And if you go back to 2005, you can add the Braves, Astros, and White Sox: the two teams that made the World Series that year, and a third that was finishing up a huge run of success. So out of the 30 teams in MLB, only 12 have a legitimate right to complain about their recent fortunes.
