Crazy slate of games tonight

The Yankees already won in extra innings. The Red Sox-Blue Jays and Marlins-Nationals are tied in the ninth. The Mets-Pirates and Orioles-Rangers are in extras. The Tigers and Phillies already won one-run games, and the Mariners lead the White Sox by one in the ninth.

This is nuts...

Edit: Pablo freakin' Ozuna just hit his first major league homer to tie the Mariners-White Sox game at five with two outs in the ninth. Amazing.

Time to test Ross' theory - Papelbon just gave up the go-ahead run in the top of the ninth at home, although it wasn't a save opportunity. If Ryan can save the win, then we'll see how Papelbon reacts next time out.

There's an NHL Game Seven on right now, but I'm way too tied up in all these tie games to pay attention to it...
