Can you spell Pavano with the letters "D" and "L"?

Carl Pavano will pitch his most important game since June of 2005 today. It's amazing to be possible for a ML pitcher to have their most important game in 20 months be an early Spring Training game, but Pavano has pulled it off, without even having major surgery.

I'm still waiting to hear that he didn't get into a car crash on the way to the ballpark today.

I'm wondering if the Yankees should have invested in a police escort.

However, thanks to Gil Meche's deal, I'm sure there will be plenty of scouts to watch Pavano today.
