So the Yankees signed Billy Crystal to a one-day contract. This is usually the kind of cheap, headline-grabbing thing I'd expect from the Red Sox (at least before Dr. Charles bolted for LA - he must be kicking himself that he didn't sign Ben Affleck first).

Quite honestly, I don't even know how to feel about the Yankees here. Disappointed? Can you be disappointed in your rival? I can't laugh at them because I know full well that the Red Sox are capable of much worse - they'll probably send Crystal a Red Sox Nation membership card after this.
