The AL-NL gap may be widening

I guess it seems Miguel Cabrera and Dontrelle Willis are about to go to the Tigers. The Tigers are giving up a lot, but I think it's a great move for them and changes the balance of power in that division.

Also, we have more of the NLs top players ending up in the AL.

I'm just waiting for Albert Pujols to be traded to the Royals.

Exactly why some above average NL team should be going all-out for Santana right now. It blows my mind that they can all sit by and add the likes of Elijah Dukes and Randy Wolf and Michael Bourn while all of the meaningful available players end up with AL teams that give a crap. It still blows my mind that the Cardinals won the World Series just a year ago.
