The Yankees one position prospect...

Actually, down in rookie ball the Yankees have some teenagers who have been awfully impressive, but when it comes to higher levels, it's basically another teenager, Jose Tabata. Tabata is having surgery on his hand, which has bothered him all season. Turns out he has a broken hand from the Venezuelan Winter league.

He actaully batted .307 in the pitcher-friendly FSL this season, with a broken hand. That's not too bad. They say recovery time is 6 weeks, so I'm sure he play some winter ball this season again, and be ready for AA-Trenton next season.
