Into My Top 3

My top 2 favorite Andy Pettitte pickoffs were always when he got Cecil Fielder and Ron Karkovice. Fielder tried to dive back into the bag, Karkovice never moved, just stood there as he got tagged out. Both were hilarious because everybody in the ballpark knew they weren't stealing, but Pettitte saw the opportunity and took it.

He took it once again today. This time was a bit different, it wasn't somebody who can't steal any bases, but he doesn't steal often. Jhonny (I have to go back and correct it every time as I'm never able to type his name right) Peralta. Peralta had gotten on base via the walk. This walk occurred with nobody out and was after two singles. Yes, Peralta got picked off first base, with the bases loaded and nobody out. Ouch. The Indians managed one run in that 7th inning, to pull within 4-1.

Peralta had a chance at redemption, coming to bat with the bases loaded and 2 outs in the 8th, with the Indians down by 2. However, he grounded out. Of course, it wasn't like he was facing Kyle Farnsworth, Rivera was already in the game.
