Igawa needs to turn things around quickly....

For a while it looked as if to be in the Yankees' rotation, all a pitcher had to do was be healthy. Kei Igawa has 1 month to proove that he's better than Matt DeSalvo, Darrell Rasner, or whatever other rookie the Yankees toy with at #5. If he can outpitch them, he has one more month to proove he belongs in the rotation with Clemens, Pettitte, Mussina, and Wang. He'll need to be very impressive to do it, as most people are writting Phillip Hughes into the #5 spot (as I did earlier today, before Clemens' announcement), as the Yankees seem to like the prospect of their prized prospect working with Clemens.

I think they'd love for Hughes to join Clemens and Pettitte in their workout program.

Yes, I too would like to see my top prospect begin using performance enhancing drugs before his 21st birthday...

Do I sense a tad bit of bitterness?
