The Chien-Ming Wang of hitters

Wil Nieves now has 32 at bats in his New York Yankee career (22 this season). He's only struck out 4 times (twice this season), but has managed to not yet have a hit.

Yup, after 32 at bats he's batting .000. But that's with 28 balls in play, not a aingle one has gotten him even a single.

Supposedly he calls a great game though.

Wil Nieves, at some point, has been on a ML roster for each of the past 6 seasons (including this one).

His last ML hit was in 2002. Now that's a slump.

NIEVES GOT A HIT!!!

And got thrown out trying to stretch it to a double. And the fans gave him a standing ovation anyway.

And Jeter and others were cracking up in the dugout.
