Pettitte's Return....
Andy Pettitte will take the mound tomorrow at Yankee Stadium (weather permitting), and it will be the first time since the 2003 World Series.
In many ways nothing has changed. Jeter is still shorstop behind him. Jorge Posada is still his catcher. And Mariano Rivera will still be closing out his games.
Joe Torre is still his manager. He's been playing with Jeter, Rivera, and Posada since before Joe Torre was the Yankee manager. He started playing with them 15 years ago, when only Rivera was old enough to drink, they all played much of their minor league careers together (I'm assuming those teams had pretty good records).
He probably will feel pretty comfortable on the mound tomorrow. Now, to feel even more comfortable, all he needs to do is get Roger Clemens back.
