Mike Lowell

He just made two errors on consecutive batters, after making six all of last year. That's pretty amazing, although to be fair, the first one was a questionable error call. It was a low liner from DeJesus that hit the grass and skipped along really low without bouncing back up like he expected it to. He did nick it with the bottom of his glove, knocking it down so it couldn't get out of the infield. If A-Rod's shot that went right through Zobrist on Monday was a hit, than this should have been as well. The second one was a high chopper that he just muffed - no excuse there.

Beckett got out of the inning unscathed, which is good to see, but he's been a little wild with his curve. Through three and a third innings, he's thrown 64 pitches.

And he gets his third error of the night in the bottom of the 9th. Six all last season, and then three in one game here. He can kiss the gold glove good-bye...
