One of My Biggest Pet Peeves

Bill Madden of the Daily News did his predictions, including standings.

While baseball rules, as they have since the beginning of baseball time, state that for every win their must be a loss.

However not in Bill Madden's world. When adding up his standings, the National League will play 34 games under .500. And while we all know how competitive the American League is this year, I guess Mr. Madden had them stealing some wins too, as they have the AL 77 games over .500.

Hmm......

Wow - I can see if you're off by 10 games of less, just from arithmetic errors or whatnot, but 43 games off? That's weak.
