Ramrio Mendoza

Adding a little more depth in case of injury, Ramiro Mendoza came made his second appearance for the Clippers last night. While the Richmond Braves crushed the Clippers starter for 9 hits and 7 runs in 5 innings, Mendoza then came in and threw 3 perfect innings with 4 K's. In his 2 games he has pitched 5.1 innings, striking out seven while surrendering just 1 hit and no walks.

At least with Mendoza, unlike any other acquisition, the only question is if he has anything left, not if he can pitch in New York or big games.
