Mike Pelfrey vs. Phillip Hughes

Since Ross and I are both obsessed with our organization's top pitching prospects, I figured I'd link to John Sickles' "Prospect Smackdown" of Mike Pelfrey and Phillip Hughes. The short answer is that they both look real good - they have very similar stats so far. Hughes is younger, but Pelfrey has been healthier.

My impression is that it's more likely that we'll see Pelfrey in the bigs this year than Hughes. One would think that the Mets will only be able to stand Jose Lima for so long. I hope.

No Yankees-Mets preview up yet? I'm disappointed...

Since it's at Shea, I would assume it would be Warren's responsibility.

No time today. Blame the kid.

Please send any karma you can spare to help the Cavs tonight - my 65-1 shot to win the NBA championship is looking pretty good, but I can use whatever positive energy you have. Ross, just divert your Yankee victory energy away from the Yankees and towards the Cavs.
